He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schwindt and Ida Schwindt; his sons, Kurt and Dan Schwindt; and his siblings, David Schwindt and Viola Heinle.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Schwindt; his sons, James Schwindt (Cindy) and Butch Schwindt (Monica); his stepchildren, Travis Geiser (Audrey), Todd Geiser (Stephanie), Troy Geiser (Tiffany), Tammy Neuberger (Kerry) and Tonya Geiser (Brad); his sisters, Dorothy Wilson (Jim), Margaret Law (Robert) and Alice Schulz (Ralph); and his sister-in-law Vivian Schwindt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
