Mildred Kuntz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred Kuntz of Dickinson, North Dakota, born in Hettinger, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Steiner and Monica Steiner (Wetzstein); her husband Leo J. Kuntz; her son Gary; and her siblings, John, William, Charles, Clarence, Arnold, Richard, Mathilda Kuntz and Dorothy Siller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Albrecht (Dave) of Fessenden, Jo Erickson (Coke) of Dickinson and Brenda Schmidt (Curtis) of Dickinson; her grandchildren, Samantha Kuntz, Wayne Schmidt, Kyle Schmidt, Colin Schmidt and Lexi Tormaschy (Darin); her great grandchildren, Braden Kuntz and Sophia Tormaschy; and her brother Walt Steiner (Rita). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stevenson Funeral Home - Dickinson (2067 1st St W, Dickinson, ND 58601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A rosary was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
She worked in many departments, including the Restorative Room, Whirlpool Room, Alzheimer's Room and the Christmas Chairman.
