He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Decker and Anna Decker (Binstock); his parents-in-law, Joe and Frances Roth; his brothers, Val and Albert Decker; and his sisters-in-law, Margie Lantz (Richard) and Irene Decker.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Roth; his sons, Scott (Shelly) of Dickinson, Blaine (Denise) of Dickinson and Mark (Val) of Dickinson; his grandchildren, Jake Decker (Courtney), Alaynea Decker (Tyler), Bailey Decker (Kamryn), Jaydin Decker (Ethan) and Jenna Decker; his siblings, Tony Decker of Dickinson, Art Decker (Donna) of South Heart, Martha Hondl (Steve) of Dickinson and Eva Messer (Ben) of Richardton; his sister-in-law Martha Decker of Dickinson; and his nephews, Todd and Michael Decker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Stark County Veterans Memorial Association (PO Box 929, Dickinson, ND 58601), Sanford Softball Complex c/o Pete Stanton (291 Campus Drive, Dickinson, ND 58601), or Cops and Bobbers.
