She was predeceased by: her parents, John Buckman and Louise Buckman (Meisner); her husband James; her grandsons, Samuel and Connor Cleveland; and her brothers, Vernon, Lewis and Clarence Buckman (Irene).
She is survived by: her children, Thomas, Hannah and James Jr. Muckle (Donna) of Beach, Tom; her sister-in-law Bonnie Buckman; her sister Marion; and her brother-in-law Holger Johnson of Beach. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren.
In later years, Mae worked for the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation in the Doll House.
