With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Wegner of Dickinson, North Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on January 16, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Elizabeth (Farber); and his siblings-in-law, Bob Eidsvoog, Dennis Selland, Harley Frantsen, Elton Davidson and Sue Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his children, Steven (Carol), McKenna and Scott (Tracy); his grandchildren, Alex, Sarah, Lauren and Dylin Clooten; his great grandchild Laya; his son Tim (Sonita); his grandchildren, Amy and Kyle (McKenzie); his sisters, Elvera Eidsvoog (Dickinson), Hazel Moss (Bob) of San Antonio, TX and Selland (Dickinson); and his siblings-in-law, Avis Frantsen (Hazen), Donald Davidson (Elaine) of Tucson, AZ and Lester Davidson (Cindy) of Fort Mill, SC. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church - Dickinson (146 6th Ave W, Dickinson, ND 58601).
