He was predeceased by: his sister Debbie Bezdicek. He is survived by: his parents, Robert J. Bezdicek and Alice Bezdicek of Manning, ND; his siblings, Greg, Myron (Rita) and Joyce (Milt Epstein); and his nephews, Aidan and Devin Epstein.

He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, serving as a chapter chair for four years.
