He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McLaughlin and Alvina McLaughlin (Hein); his siblings, Joseph, Thomas McLaughlin, Shirley Ann McLaughlin and Kathleen Beck (McLaughlin); his siblings-in-law, Vesta McLaughlin, Don Pavlicek and Harold Beck; and his mother-in-law Barbara Fiest.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" McLaughlin; his daughter Debra Hellman (Tony); his siblings, Doug McLaughlin (Denise) of Boise, ID., Wilson McLaughlin (Tammy) of Dickinson, Terasa Robinson (Michael) of Mt. Vernon, WA., Tamarae McLaughlin of Washington, D. C. and Geraldine Pavlicek of Dickinson; and his sister-in-law Marceal McLaughlin of Hazen, ND. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
