He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Kappel and Vi Kappel. He is survived by: his siblings, Jeff Kappel (Diane) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Brenda Juhasz (Steve) of Denver, CO, Pam Maglischo (Ernie) of Denver, CO and Mary Jo Fontaine (Michael) of Denver, CO; and his half-brother Jace Huenemeir (Jan) of Visalia, CA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the progressive and damaging effects of Alzheimer's disease, Craig spent the last three years at Hilltop Home of Comfort in Killdeer, ND.
