She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Lenz and Ida Lenz (Brandt); her siblings, Herbert, Dorothy, Ida, Harry, Robert, Richard and Emily; her husband Earl Elkins; and her daughter-in-law Donna.
She is survived by: her children, Earleen Friez (Gary) of Hettinger, Gerald Elkins of Bismarck and Arthur Elkins (Teryl) of Dickinson; and her grandchildren, Cary Friez (Karla) of Bismarck, Nancy Haider (Brian) of Bismarck, Susan Erickson (Darrin) of Bismarck, Marshawn Gubbels (James) of Winside, Keyona Elkins of Minneapolis and Dalton Elkins of Dickinson. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
