He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Benz and Ralph Meschke; his sister Dorothy Klein; and his brother-in-law Roger Klein. He is survived by: his wife Linda Benz; his children, Riley, Stuart of Dickinson and Travis Meschke (Kayla) of Bismarck; and his siblings, Carl Meschke (Dorothy) of Amidon, Lila Frank (Dan) of Fargo, Robert Meschke (Zella) of Landusky, MT and Rachel Dukart of Mandan. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
