She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Howes and Ruby Howes (Holm); her son Pat Stein; and her brothers, Wayne and Dale Howes.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Knutson; her former husband Allen Stein; her children, Lonnie Stein (Bonnie) of Prior Lake, MN, Stacie Wade (Tom), Steve Knutson (Tanya) and Angela Perez (Tito); her grandchildren, Andrew Stein (Melissa), Kellen Stein, Chris Stein, Kara Martinson (Andross), MacKenzie Wade (Adam Nagel), Taylor Hendrickson (Reed), Amy Appel (Jeff), Brett James (Tara Peters), Kamryn James, Ayden James and Jessica Stein; her great grandchildren, Elaina Stein, Harbor Schwan, Hadlea, McKinlea, Thomas Appel and Ayla Perez; and her siblings, Karen Dolan (Darryl) of Bismarck, ND and Dean Howes (Dona) of Goodyear, AZ. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
