He is survived by: his close friend Robin Ness; his wife Linda Goodoien; his children, Angie Nichols (Brad), Jason Hunter (Amber) of Devils Lake and Douglas Hunter (Amy) of Emerado, ND; his grandchildren, Emberly Russell (Zach), Brianna Ash (Brady), Gabriella, Ryder, Hudson Hunter, Isabella and Larkin Hunter; his great grandchildren, Eslie and Eli Russell; and his siblings, Carol O'Keefe of Fargo, ND, Ray Hunter of Grand Forks, ND, Jerry Hunter (Deb) of Grand Forks, ND, Paul (Becky) and Don Hunter of Helena, MT.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (522 4th St NE, Devils Lake, ND 58301).
