He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Martin Shaffer of Joseph's Catholic Cemetery; his daughter Linda Holtz; and his brothers, Herrillis and William (Billy). He is survived by: his children, Ted Junior of Fargo, Terry (Lori) of Nevada, Lisa of Devils Lake and Joseph of Devils Lake; and his brother John (YoYo) of Florida. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
