He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Armstrong and Ethel Armstrong (Bush); his father-in-law Jim Davis; his brothers, Rusty and Tim Armstrong; and his grandson Cameron Dahl.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Armstrong (Davis); his children, Heather Dahl (Lee) of Lakota, ND, Courtney Stroschein (Chris) of Minot, ND, Matthew Armstrong (Kalissa Syverson) of Lakota, ND and Tanner Armstrong (Ashtyn) of Brocket, ND; his granddaughters, Emily, Madelyn, Lydia, Natalie Dahl and Kinsley Armstrong; his brothers, Roger Armstrong (IraMae) of Fargo, ND, Curt Armstrong (Wisconsin), Gordon Armstrong (Becky) of Chakio, MN and Randy Armstrong (Pam) of Wahpeton, ND; and his parents-in-law, Claire Davis of Devils Lake, ND, Bob, Cindy Davis, Terry and Diane Frelich of Devils Lake, ND. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
