He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Possen and Ruth Possen (Nash); his son Shane; his brother James Possen; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Struksnes, Roger Wilhelmi and Judy Possen.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Wilhelmi; his son Stuart Possen (Jackelyn) of Mandan; his siblings, Bob, Donald, Dennis Possen, Judy Struksnes, Beatrice Reynolds and Sandy Drake; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Wilhelmi, Gary Wilhelmi (Rose), Kevin Wilhelmi (Gayle), Keith Wilhelmi (Laura), Pam Wilhelmi, Cindy LaMorte (Dave) and Lori Wilhelmi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
