He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Sailor and Phyllis Sailor (Tufsrud); his brother Gary Sailor; his brother-in-law Pete Schall; his mother-in-law Evelyn Olson; his stepfather-in-law Leroy Olson; and his father-in-law George Shipley Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Veronica Sailor (Shipley) of Devils Lake; and his daughters, Tina Haugen (Jon) of Menoken, ND, Tonya Sailor (Trevor) of Devils Lake and Teri DeMarais (Troy) of Devils Lake. He is also survived by Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
