He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Garske and Hazel Garske (Anderson); and his grandson Dakota Robert. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Thompson; his sons, Robert Jr. (Bob) of Phillips Ranch and Garry (Sharon Catterall) of Pensacola, FL; his siblings, Gary Garske (Claire), Lynn Garske (Loie) and Bette Schell (Mike) of Devils Lake; his grandchildren, Kyle Garske (Sabrina Schroeder), Amanda Garske, Jeremi Garske, Jaysen Garske, Caden Garske and Alysen Garske; his great grandchildren, Riley, Connor, Spencer, Isaac and Radley; his brother-in-law Larry Thompson (Wanitta); and his daughter-in-law Tonya Hollenbeck. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
