He is survived by: his siblings, Viola Borho (Bob), Selina Rohde, Bernetta Ritter, Lois Parker (Wes), Elaine Perius (Robert), Bernard Schommer (Aletha), James Schommer (Connie), Arnold Schommer (Liz) and Vern Schommer (Linda); his sisters-in-law, Shirley Schommer and Darlene Schommer; his nephews, Gerald Borho, Alan Borho, James Borho, Ronald Borho, Duane Borho, Donald Schommer, Mike Rohde, Douglas Schommer, Wayne Schommer, Justin Schommer, Jody Schommer, Ryan Schommer, Kevin Ritter, Craig Schommer, Scott Parker, Jason Perius and Andy Schommer; and his goddaughter Nicole Belanger.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gilbertson Funeral Home (123 4th St SE, Devils Lake, ND 58301). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the Gilbertson Funeral Home (509 U. S. Rte 2, Devils Lake, ND 58301). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (456 Main St, Munich, ND 58352).
