He is survived by: his spouse Gail Haugen; his children, Shareen Roberts (Justin) of Fargo, ND, Donald Buckmier (Stephanie) of Maddock, ND and Amanda Moffett (David Kinnard) of Sarasota, FL; his grandchildren, Kristen Hillier (Andy), Carrie Tufte (Ben), Alexis Windjue (Adam), Jamie Buckmier and Reagan Moffett; and his sisters, Beatrice Hahn of Grand Forks, ND and Betty MacArthur. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
