She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mense and Louise Blackbird; her grandparents, Florence Blackbird and Charles Blackbird; her granddaughters, Heaven Leigh Longie and Paris Chopper; her aunt Corrine Blackbird; her uncle Jerome Blackbird Sr.; and her cousin Duane Blackbird.
She is survived by: her children, Alfred Longie Jr. of Fort Totten, Althea Sonya Longie of Fort Totten and Welder Christianson of Fort Totten; her cousins, Millie McKay, Louis "Dewey" Blackbird, Jerome "Jerry" Blackbird, Darlene Myhre and Jackie Peltier; her godchildren, Ervinetta Blueshield, Faron Howard and Jamie Burdick; her grandson Eugene Christianson; and her adoptive daughter Germaine Thompson. She is also survived by her many friends, co-workers.
