With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orlanda GreyBear of Devils Lake, North Dakota, born in Williston, North Dakota, who passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oral GreyBear, Sr. and Linda Adams; her brother Anthony FourStar; her nephew Nathaniel; her niece Jazlyn GreyBear; her aunts and uncles, Vina Mae Longtree, Coretta Youngman, Phyllis GreyBear, Judy GreyBear, Ava Old-Rock Martin, Lorraine GreyBear, Melvin GreyBear, Sr., Abraham, GreyBear, Sr., Galen M. GreyBear and Floyd Youngman; her cousins, Laurie GreyBear-Youngman, Tanya GreyBear, Denise Longtree, Ava GreyBear, Ron Brown, Vonnie Brown, Valerie Blackdog, Jewel, Colette GreyBear and Rainy Old Rock; her granddaughter Landrea Youngman; her sister-in-law Kellie Jo; her adoptive son Ashton Thompson; her grandfather Soloman Sherman; and her close friend Olivia Longtree.
She is survived by: her children, Jaime Burdick, Jr. (Tyla), Brennen Burdick (Melissa), Kashaye Burdick and Na'Taye Nelson; her adoptive son Dakota Bull; her grandchildren, Ameriah, Zakiah, Ashtynn, Ky'Leigha and Quinnleigh; her siblings, Oral GreyBear, Jr. (Carrie), O. J. GreyBear, Angie Shields (Tony), Andrea Youngman, Kelly and Cerise GreyBear; her aunt Vivian; her cousins, Lizzan, Coretta, Abe Jr., Melvin Jr., Bentley Sr., Loren Sr., Myron Sr., Lori Jo, D'Anna, Krissandra, Jordan GreyBear, Mike and Judith "BJ" Olson; her nephews, Ian, Rylan, Ryder, Sage and Malachi; her niece Kiah GreyBear (June); and her grandmother Germaine Brady of New Town, ND.
