He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Foss and Myrtle Foss (Stenseng); and his brothers, Curtis "Buddy" Foss and Gene Foss. He is survived by: his wife Mabel Hawker; his son Kendall Foss (Chantelle) of Mandan; and his siblings, Merle Dahl of Bottineau, Gwen Aftem (Danny) of Westhope and Virgil Foss of Grand Forks. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
