He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jacksen and Bernice Jacksen (Thompson); his siblings, Robert Jacksen, Sandy Kurtz and Carol Britsch; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Jacksen Klier, Arlen Britsch, Eugene Heisler and Harold Held.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie (Vickie) of Egeland and Valerie of Starkweather; his grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Aimee Smith (Kev Davick), Kaylee Jacksen (Nahj Potts), Jessie Givens (Skye Tillotson), Andrew Givens (Megan), Michael Givens (Taylor Lloyd) and Ashley Givens; his sisters, Myrna Heisler, Judy Held (Gary Gjevre) and Jan Peterson (Mike); and his brother-in-law Delano Kurtz of Devil's Lake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gilbertson Funeral Home (509 U. S. Rte 2, Devils Lake, ND 58301).
