He is survived by: his children, Robert Hoffert (June Kraft) of Devils Lake, ND and Arlene Johnson (Roy) of Devils Lake, ND; his children-in-law, Greg Berg and Lisa Hoffart of Savage, MN; his grandchildren, Cara Golden (Perry), Cory Hoffart (Magdalene), Melissa Eken (Tylon), Brandy Duberowski (Jason), Dustin Berg, Marcy Hoffart, Brad Hoffart (Jennifer), Lance Johnson and Kendall Johnson (Lacey); his siblings, Dennis Hoffart (Marion) of Grand Forks, ND, Rosella "Sally" Olson and Jerome Hoffart (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Sime of Minot, ND, Nadene Hoffart, Phyllis Ebach and Janice Keller of Harvey, ND.
