He is survived by: his sister-in-law Isabelle Thompson of Minot, ND; his nephew Dean Thompson (Susan); his nieces, Sue Arnold (Joshua) of Rochester, MN, Karen Iverson (Joel) of Missoula, MT, Diane Chilson (Mike) and Carolyn Lyon; his goddaughter Janie Vang; and his son Doug Vang (Kristi).
