He was predeceased by: his grandfather John Rutten; his aunt Heide Medina; and his cousin Megan LaMotte. He is survived by: his parents, Andrew Rutten and Sara Rutten (LaMotte); his siblings, Elizabeth Rutten, Thomas Rutten of Devils Lake and Jack Rutten of Devils Lake; his grandparents, Tom of Devils Lake, Mary LaMotte of Devils Lake, Mary Rutten of Devils Lake and Ken Hanson of Devils Lake; his aunts and uncles, Todd, Sheila LaMotte, Margie, Vince Hannesson and Ric Medina; and his cousins, Mara LaMotte, Will Hannesson, Peter Hannesson, Genevieve Medina and Ava Medina. He is also survived by his cousins and friends.
