He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mattson and Eunice Mattson (Anderson); his grandson Chad; and his parents-in-law, Clarence and Emma Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Bobbi" Werner; his daughters, Tammy Gresham of Copperas Cove, TX and Tanya Mattson of Copperas Cove, TX; his stepchildren, Mike Englman and Lori Russel of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Alicia Manning (Alan), Justin Gresham, Tabatha Mattson, Colton, Levi Englman, Susan Mooneyhan (Houston), Nathan Russel (Lindsey) and Dava Westmoreland; his great grandchildren, Makayla, Rowdy, Colton, Nathan, DJ, Edelyn, Aiden, Boston and Brooklyn; and his sisters, Cheryl Sanderfeld (Doug) of Sioux Falls, SD, Judy Pownell (Bryan), Candy Jensen (Dave), Margey Rudland and Sioux Falls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
