He was predeceased by: his father Einer'Pete' Peterson (Pete); his brother Roger Peterson; and his grandparents, Adolph, Margaret Neva, Einer Peterson, Steve and Helen Russell.
He is survived by: his mother Delores Peterson (Neva) of Jamestown; his spouse Sharyl Peterson (Hoffart); his children, Cheslyn Stromme (Trevor) and Brett Peterson (Erika Kratochvil) of Devils Lake; his siblings, Terry Peterson (Charlene) of Fargo and LouAnn Sazama (Ray) of Perham; his grandchildren, Brekken and Carson Stromme of Devils Lake; the mother of his children Sharyl Peterson of Devils Lake; and his nieces and nephews, Sheena Miller (Tate), Jodi Koll (Jordan), Stefanie Hagemann (Dustin), Sean Peterson and Cory Kiemele (Laura). He is also survived by 3 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces, many cousins, aunts and uncles.
