He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Hodous (Clapp) and Frank Hodous; and his siblings, Warren, Howard Hodous and Marilyn Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Bill Hodous (Debbie) of Devils Lake, Peggy Olderbak (Mike) of Rockford, IL, Cindy Boeddeker (Tony) of Hunter, ND and Linda Walter (Marvin Jr.) of Warwick, ND.; and his grandchildren, Christine Stiven (Alistair), Jason Hodous (Stephanie), Thomas Hodous (Melissa), Benjamin Walter (Laura), Lucas Walter (Anna), Laura Hobart (Andy) and Carrie Fulton. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
