He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Hap" Dykstra and Dorothy Dykstra (Postma); his son James "Jim" Dykstra McClure; and his parents-in-law, George and Shirlee Kruger (Paige).
He is survived by: his wife Janet (Kruger); his children, Jed Dykstra and Paige Dykstra; his grandchildren, Ashiya and Bryson; his daughter-in-law Tonia McClure; his granddaughter Jess Doll; his sisters, Cheryl Gruis (Ray), Renee Everding (David) and Lori Schaa (Rick); his in-laws, Kelvin "Kelly" Kruger (Patti), Rae Yost (Dana), Michael Kruger and Aimee Fisher (Steve); his son-in-law Justin Bracken; his grandson Aiker Bracken; and also Aiker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gilbertson Funeral Home (509 U. S. Rte 2, Devils Lake, ND 58301).
