He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Wolf and Bernice Wolf (Hilson); his parents-in-law, Harvey and Dona Buhrow (Obeley); and his brother-in-law Douglas Buhrow.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Wolf; his children, Tari Mitzel of Grand Forks, ND and Dustin Wolf (LeAnn); his grandsons, Marcel Mitzel, Harvey Wolf and Hal Wolf; and his siblings, Jack Wolf (Mikki), Ardell Wolf (Jill), Jim Wolf (Carla), Brenda Collete (Dale) and Doug Wolf (Cyndy). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be given to the VA or the Altru Rehab Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
