It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Knutson of Devils Lake, North Dakota, born in Churchs Ferry, North Dakota, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Magnus Knutson and Inga Johnson Knutson; and his wife Winnifred Knutson. He is survived by: his children, Karla Halldorson (Rick) of Enderlin, ND, Renae Elshaug (Norris) and John Knutson (Kara); his grandchildren, Kristian Halldorson, Mitchell Halldorson (Alisha), Aaron Elshaug (Bethany), Marti Curtis (Matthew), Hannah Martinson (Mitch) and Connor Knutson; and his sister Shirley Barkie (William). He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
