She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Roberts (Rosenthal) and Clarence Roberts of Eckman, ND.; her husband Carl Arthur Kalhagen; her sisters, Doris Louise Roberts and Della Smith; her niece Lois Brekke; her stepmother Josephine Roberts (Hamel); her foster sisters, Margaret Krueger, Leona Thiel, Bernice Kitzman, Marie Krenz and Edith Gessner; and her half-sister Clarice Rosenthal.
She is survived by: her children, Orin Kalhagen (Tamela) of Forest Lake, MN, Sonja Kalhagen of Devils Lake, ND, Gerald Kalhagen (Bertha) of Webster, ND and Karen Lamphier (David) of Shoreview, MN; her grandchildren, Seth (Melissa), Joshua (Anna), Noah Kalhagen (Ashley), Kari Song (Tim), Candra, Leandre and Keenan Kalhagen; her great grandchildren, Avery, Piper, Ezra, Hazel, Elliot, Elise and Emmett Kalhagen; and her half-siblings, Peggy VanHorn of Minot, ND, Joann Teigan of Wahoo, NE, Bonnie Job (Larry) of Everest, KS, Sandra Gilseth (Virgil) of Kenmare, ND, James Roberts (Janet) of Troy, KS and Terence Roberts (Sue) of Minot. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
