He is survived by: his mother Karen Richards (Lange); his former wife Samantha Carter; his fiancé Jocelyn Miller; his children, Samantha Vaughn Davis (Bryan) of Ray, ND, Jacob Richards and Ana Richards of Garrison, ND; his grandchildren, Rowan and Lucy Davis; and his brother Greg Richards (Rachel) of Ionia.
