With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David D. Nelson of Devils Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on November 5, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Dean Nelson; his son Blake; and his grandparents, Edwin, Dorothy Sobak, Alfred and Louise Nelson.
He is survived by: his mother Sandra Maloney (Sobak); his stepfather Tom Maloney of Devils Lake; his brother Daniel Nelson (Terri); his nieces and nephews, Cody and Courtney of Tonopah, Arizona; his stepsiblings, Matthew, Terry Maloney and Kristi Hoey; his uncle Edwin Sobak of Devils Lake; his aunts, Lois Nelson of Grand Forks, ND and Susan Everidge of Red Level, Alabama; and his close friend Shannon Drury.
