It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana Schlieve of Devils Lake, North Dakota, born in Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother LaVonne Schlieve Mercer (Deseth); his uncle Scott Schlieve; his grandfather Harlan Deseth; and his great-grandparents, Alfton, Luella Olson, Robert, Mary Schlieve and Esther Tollefson.

He is survived by: his father Dwaine Schlieve; his pets, Brutus and Mya; his grandparents, Don, Lola Schlieve, Nick and Barb Reiners; his half-sister Sara Mercer-Sailor of Devils Lake; and his aunts and uncles, Brian Schlieve (Jill), Lonnie Deseth, Larry Deseth, Loren Deseth, LaRay Klier, LeAnn Charon (Tom), Lonna Gee (Tim) and Lori Daniels. He is also survived by several great uncles, great aunts and many cousins.
