He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig "Louie" and Hattie Kruckenberg (Grosz); his wife Joyce Bednarz; his grandsons, Dane Garcia and Shaun Bellile; his siblings, Elsie Enloe, Murphy Grant, Arley Kruckenberg and Ray Kruckenberg; and his brother-in-law Quentin Jelsing.
He is survived by: his former wife Joanne Landseidel; his stepsons, Jeffery (Tili) of Phoenix, AZ and Mark (Cathy) of Anthem, AZ.; his son David Kruckenberg (Kimberly) of Matthews, NC; his stepchildren, Kelly Bednarz, Robert Bednarz of Billings, MT, Brenda Bednarz (Sonya) of Devils Lake and Jason Bednarz (Ann) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Josh Bednarz, Tyson Bednarz (Kim), Taylor Bednarz, Jared, Jordan Garcia (Catherine), Randi Heisler (Levi) and Marsten Bednarz (Marcella); his great grandchildren, Macen, Aspen, Max Heisler and Gretchen Bednarz; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Ohm. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
