She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Selke and Etha Selke (Skinner); her husband Harry Cowing, Jr.; and her sister Marilyn Kay Selke. She is survived by: her former husband Willard Engel; her children, Kathy, Kevin Engel (Tammy) of Crary, ND and Kathryn Punt (Leland) of Palm Desert, CA; her stepchildren, Jerry Cowing of Niceville, FL and Sandra Reynolds of Sioux Falls, SD; and her grandchildren, Dakota, Karsyn, Sydney, Kylee, Keenan, Patty, Brandy, Troy and Tyler. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to have memorials made in Connie's name to BelieveFest, a community school supply give away for Huron and surrounding areas.
