She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Elgaen and Hazel Elgaen (Aamodt); her husband Gary E. Johnson; her daughter Mary Jo; her siblings, Carol Wilkinson, Myrtle Burdick (Earl), Alfred Elgaen (Linda) and Carl Elgaen Jr.; her grandson Clay James LaMotte; her brothers-in-law, Jimmy, Roger and Ronnie Johnson; and her parents-in-law, Nellie and Ernest Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Johnson, Sally LaMotte (Gene Jr.), Carla Bjornson (Paul) and Gary D. Johnson of Devils Lake, ND; her brother Sid Elgaen of Overland Park, KS; her aunt Mable Rabideaux; her grandchildren, Loralee Ellison (Matt) of Leeds, ND, Lukas LaMotte (Mychal) of Bottineau, ND, Morningstar Bjornson of Atlanta, GA, Cody Bjornson of Omaha, NE, Dominick Bjornson of Fargo, ND, Kali Bjornson, Katiri Bjornson of Cleveland, OH, Marcus Miller of Devils Lake, Kayla Miller of Devils Lake, Jonah Bjornson of Devils Lake, Tyray Bjornson of Devils Lake, Terrance Bjornson of Devils Lake, Shyree Bjornson of Devils Lake and Bella Johnson of Devils Lake; her great grandchildren, Alexis Hill of Leeds, ND and Elliot Morin; and her sisters-in-law, Louise Johnson of Stone Mountain, GA and Jane Wentz (Ralph). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
