He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Opland and Olga Opland (Larson); his wife Marlene Gail Waterman; his siblings, Lyle, Lloyd and Betty Aker; and his granddaughter Breanna Frueh.
He is survived by: his brother Construction; his children, Grant Opland (Cindy) of Spokane, WA, Corene Buxa (Rod) of Anamoose, ND, Bonita Vinje (Kevin) of Maricopa, AZ, Diane Frueh (Daryl) of West Fargo, ND, Jane Hickling (Todd) of Culpeper, VA and Betty Davy (Randy) of Moorhead, MN; his brother Floyd Opland (Jean) of Enumclaw, WA; and his siblings-in-law, Esther Opland and Jule Waterman (Lucy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred to Child Evangelism Fund (CEF) or The Church XYZ Senior group.
