He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloys Theisen and Anna Barbara Theisen (Dockendorf); and his children, Diane Kay and Jon Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Schaefer Askvig; his children, Brent Askvig (Stacy), Gary Askvig (Jeanne), Donny Askvig (Jody), Des Lacs, Curt Askvig (Kylene) and Dave Theisen (Darcy) of Brooklyn Park, MN; his grandchildren, Josh, Ethen, Kaitlin, Braden, Jason, Marcus, Casey, Cassie, Kali, Matt and Ryanne; his brothers, Gerald Theisen of St. Joseph, MN and Leeroy Theisen of St. Joseph, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Renee Theisen and Gert Theisen. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
