He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Heinze and Dorothy Heinze; his grandparents, Julius Heinze, Marie Bulens (Kunze), Alfred and Teckla Beckstrom; his siblings, Bobby and Suzi; and his brothers-in-law, John Russell, Jim Van Oosting, Tim Hazelton and LeRoy Christensen.
He is survived by: his wife Dinah Bryn; his children, Scott, Chad, Mindy and Casey Heinze (Kelsey); his grandchildren, Abby Pfau, Emily Curtis, Henry Olauson, Scarlet Olauson, Noah Heinze and Leo Pirnie; his siblings, Kathy Russell of Longmont, CO, John (Dorene) of Cooperstown, ND, Jim (Barb) of Dazey, ND and Bill (Tracy) of Wimbledon, ND; and his siblings-in-law, Bev Van Oosting, Pat Christensen of West Fargo, ND, Helen Sherlock (James), Elaine Hazelton, Becky Kuhlmann (Lloyd) of Jamestown, ND, Diane (Ronnie Haugen) and Terry Bryn (Nancy) of Dazey, ND.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sodbusters. A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1610 115th Ave SE, Dazey, ND 58429).
