He was predeceased by: his son Patrick (Joy); his daughter-in-law Joy O'Keefe; and his grandson Anthony O'Keefe. He is survived by: his wife Carol; and his children, Timothy (Bonnie), Thomas (Audrey) and Jane Vold (Jim). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
