With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Benter of Crosby, North Dakota, who passed away on May 15, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marian; his daughter Marilyn; his children-in-law, Galen Germandson and Debbie Benter; and his siblings, Millie and Ray.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Fleck (Jerry) of Williston, Karen Koster of Bismarck, Susan Hagen (Paul) of Crosby and Neil Benter (Marian) of Ambrose. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.
