He was predeceased by: his parents, John Retzer and Helen Retzer (Billing); his wife Doris; his brother-in-law John Fosland (Glen Lund); and his friend Jim Weiler.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gary (Lana) of Wahpeton, ND, Ken and LuAnna Lund of Wahpeton, ND; and his sister-in-law Sherrill Fosland (Many) of Crosby, ND. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews, several great and great great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the North West Choir.
