He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence "Duane" Guy and Elgie Ann Eagleman; his children, LaShawnda Kenner (Jesse Kenner), Diamonique Jacobson, Thaine Thunderhawk, Gabe Guy (Akipa Guy), Alisha Guy and Shay Guy; his grandchildren, Kylar Fassett, Wyatt Kenner, Morgan Kenner, Saiciye Akipa and Pebduna Akipa; his siblings, John Guy, Melody Eagleman, Beverly Eagleman, Matthew Eagleman, Kenneth Eagleman, Shelby Dubois, Lisa Guy, Mandy Guy and Michelynn Guy; his stepsiblings, Suna Guy and Neva Whiteshield; his stepmother Elaine Guy; his siblings, Christopher Littleghost, Todd Yankton and Ramone Demarce; his uncle Chuck Redday; his aunt Shelley Guy; his cousins, Brandi Guy-Stewart, Courtney Lara and Lee Lenoir Jr.; and his family, Darla Thiele (family: Whiteshield, Elrae Mazakahomni, Jason Thompson), Fadez Barbershop Clients, Quincy Hambek and Valerie Yankton.
During this time, he ran for council on the Spirit Lake Tribe, participating in charity work because he had love for his people.
