It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mike Bachmeier (Crary, North Dakota), born in Orrin, North Dakota, who passed away on March 24, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Bachmeier and Anne Bachmeier (Kraft); his children, Michele "Shelly" Danae Bachmeier, Joseph Bachmeier and Rebecca Bachmeier; his great grandchild Brittany Ascheman; his siblings, Pete, Frank, Patrick, Betty Christianson and Irene Bjerke; and his parents-in-law, Charlie and Thelma Krogfoss.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Krogfoss; his children, Jean Bjerke (Joe), John "Jack" Bachmeier, Thelma Bachmeier, Rodney Bachmeier, Cindy Borgeson (Keith), Manvil and Monica Bachmeier; and his siblings, Mary Volk (Leo) of Devils Lake, Adam Bachmeier of Devils Lake, Judy Tollefson (Rudy) of Devils Lake, Alice Winnegee of Devils Lake, Paul Bachmeier (Lois) of Devils Lake, Rick Bachmeier (Lisa) of Devils Lake, Patricia Skadsem of Devils Lake, Rose Harrison (Clarence), Beatrice Christianson, Wadena and Sharon (Ross). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.
