He is survived by: his wife Janet Paulsen; his children, Kelly of Colorado Springs, CO, Sarah Wells (Justin) of Clawson, MI, Stacey Bittner (Richard) of Colorado Springs, CO and Christopher of Tumwater, WA; his siblings, Robert of Cambridge, MN and Karen Forde of Menahga, MN; his uncle Jim Zimprich (Shelly) of Jessie, ND; and his aunt Rosemary Flick of Alexandria, MN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
