With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Kovarik (Cooperstown, North Dakota), who passed away on January 27, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Kovarik and Mildred Kovarik (Balek); his daughter Denise Kovarik; his brother-in-law Donald Pecka; and his nephew David Kadlec.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Kovarik of Lankin; his daughters, Kristi Kovarik (Daryn Wambem) of Grand Forks, Cheryl Storhoff (Wayne Barreth) of Valley City, Kathy Houser (Kelly) of Park River, Nancy Kovarik of Minot, Julie Anderson (Steve) of Manvel and Pam Kovarik of Lankin; his grandchildren, Taylor, Alec Storhoff, Samantha, Brandon, Madison Houser, Brayden, Roger Kovarik, Logan and Lexie Anderson; his siblings, Jim Kovarik (Marge) of Adams, Ken Kovarik (Pat) of West Fargo, Gladys Slominski (Julian) of Grand Forks and Phyllis Kadlec (Maynard) of Grand Forks; and his sister-in-law Terri Cernik of Fargo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
