He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Trostad and Ethel Trostad (Koloen); his wife Phyllis Hanson; his children, Randy (Debbie), Allison Anderson (Loran) and Mitchel (Naomi); his grandchildren, Jeremy Trostad (Amber), Cassondra Schock (Travis), Graham Anderson (Kelsey), Carter Anderson (Megan), Bryce Trostad and Evan Trostad; his great grandchildren, Kenedy, Brinley Trostad, Brandi, Hunter, Mallori, Karli Schock, Sawyer, Blakely Anderson, Blair and Cam Anderson; his sisters, Bebe McCardle (Curtis) and Rhoda Lund; his siblings-in-law, Orvin Hanson, Charles Gehrke and Gretchen Hanson; his aunt Helen Bakken; his son Paul; and his siblings-in-law, Harlan Lund, Roger Hanson, Marge Hanson and Helen Gehrke. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
